RS232 or TCP/IP Interfacing
Today most instruments are serial output capable meaning that they are equipped to pass data directly to a computer program. All they need is a conduit that can acquire the data from the RS232 or Ethernet port and place it into the desired computer program.
Labtronics developed Collect to be that conduit.

Our Collect solution interfaces with RS422, RS485 or TCP/IP capable instruments. Analog output can also be integrated through Collect with the use of an analog-digital converter.
The Collect interfacing solution includes the 'Labtronics Instrument Library', providing setup information for hundreds of pre-configured instruments. This library eliminates the need for you to configure your instrument - it's already done for you.
Collect is a powerful, highly configurable, and yet, incredibly easy to use software program that allows users to create direct connections between instruments and devices with Serial RS232 or TCP/IP Ethernet ports and interface the required data to any software application in Windows.
Collect connects the RS232 or TCP/IP interfaces directly with Excel®, Access®, Database Applications, Files, or Data Management systems in the proper format and includes advanced processing and automation features.
