Life Systems, Inc., a leading distributor of specialty and cutting-edge diagnostic and patient monitoring equipment in the long-term care market, will be distributing an exclusive version of Collect that is specifically set up for transferring data from their Rosie II Vital Signs Monitor to Microsoft® Excel®.
Rosie II is a portable automated vital signs monitor that accurately, non-invasively and automatically measures systolic, mean and diastolic blood pressures, pulse rate, oxygen saturation (SpO2) and temperature.
Collect provides caregivers with a simple process for downloading patient data from Rosie into an Excel® spreadsheet, at the end of a shift or when they have completed their rounds. A customized Excel® template included with the Rosie II interface in Collect ensures that data is correctly saved and identified, every time.
Kellie Lawless, Director of Marketing at Life Systems, Inc. sees Collect as the perfect match to the ease of use and simplicity of Rosie II, "A real key to the success of Collect for our clients is that it is so easy to use. There is no need to struggle with setups or configurations, they simply install the software and start collecting data."
Mike DeWitte, Vice President, Device Integration Group at Labtronics agrees, "A unique feature of Collect is the simplicity of creating a customized interface for any instrument that has an RS232 serial interface like the Rosie. Any instrument manufacturer or distributor can very quickly have a cost-effective data capture solution that is installed automatically and tailored directly to their clients' needs."
