Embedded interfaces for Empower, ChemStation Plus and TotalChrom, give analysts new menu items in their CDS clients that let them pull sample information directly from the LIMS into the CDS.

Flexibility without Custom Programming
All of the LimsLink CDS interfaces provide extensive flexibility, without requiring programming. The interfaces are defined using a series of check boxes and drop down menus that match the parameters of the CDS.
The setup screens for each CDS use the terminology and the look and feel of the native CDS, creating a familiar and comfortable environment for implementing and maintaining the interfaces.

Automatic Sequence Creation Reduces Analysts’ Workload
No matter which Chromatography Data System you are using, a LimsLink CDS interface is able to reduce the analyst’s workload by automating the process of creating run sequences.
LimsLink CDS can automatically query the LIMS for samples that are due for a specific test and extract information such as LIMS ID, Sample ID, Batch numbers, test codes, weights and dilution factors. The interface can also automatically add standards and control samples to the sequence, ensuring that the run protocol is followed each and every time.
• Query the LIMS for a list of samples based on test and status
• Add additional samples such as standards and controls to the list
• Format the expanded list into a sequence that is compatible with the CDS requirements
• Transfer the sequence to the CDS - “ready to run”
With LimsLink CDS bi-directional interfaces, analysts never need to re-enter information that already exists in the LIMS.
Direct Reporting from CDS to LIMS
LimsLink CDS can capture any standard report produced by the Chromatography Data System, parse out the data that needs to go to the LIMS and transfer that information directly to the LIMS. Analysts simply use their regular reporting procedures to send CDS results directly to LIMS.
Meet Data Security and Regulatory Compliance Requirements
LimsLink CDS embedded interfaces operate under the control of the security system of the CDS that they are embedded in. Access to the interface is controlled by the CDS security. The CDS audit trail can provide full documentation of all activity that takes place between the CDS and the LIMS.
Password protection, electronic signatures, audit trails and archiving are also included in LimsLink CDS and can be implemented to ensure the highest level of security for your data and assist in meeting FDA 21 CFR Part 11, cGMP, GLP and other regulatory compliance requirements.
