For laboratories that use Cerity, ChemStation, Chromeleon, Empower, Galaxie or TotalChrom, LimsLink CDS Embedded Interfaces provide advanced CDS/LIMS interfacing from right inside the CDS client.
While not all CDS' are ready to support this advanced technology, laboratories that are using other chromatography data systems are still able to benefit from a full-featured LimsLink CDS interface.

Automate Sequence Creation
Analysts can use LimsLink CDS to automatically query LIMS for a list of samples that are scheduled to run for a particular analysis.Labtronics' exclusive Expansion Function can be used to automatically add standards, blanks, replicates, etc. to the LIMS worklist, ensuring that run protocols are followed every time.
The expanded worklist is automatically reformatted into a full sequence and loaded into the CDS - ready to run.
Analysts have the option to review and edit sequences prior to upload to the CDS or the whole process can take place transparently.

Automated sequence creation eliminates the need to manually create and type sequences into the CDS before analysts start running tests. Errors are eliminated and analysts have more time to run tests, making them more productive.
Use Standard CDS Reporting Procedures to Send Data to LIMS
LimsLink CDS captures standard CDS reports electronically, automatically extracts data from the reports and transfers results directly to LIMS. Reports can also be printed or sent to other data management systems (SDMS, ERP, etc.) at the same time as results are sent to LIMS.

This process is completely transparent to the analyst who simply uses their standard CDS reporting procedures.
An added benefit of this approach is that the results of any calculations that are done as part of the reporting process are also available to LIMS.
More than Just Data Transfer
Many laboratories use a spreadsheet application such as Excel® to perform further calculations and reformatting of their CDS data before reporting it to LIMS.- Averaging of results from duplicates
