Embedded LIMS Interface

LimsLink CDS adds new functionality to the Cerity XML Import that provides direct access to LIMS from the Cerity client. Authorized Cerity users have access to the new functionality without having to logon separately to use the interface.

Automated Sequence Creation

Clicking on the “Import Samples/Sequences” menu item in the Cerity Client now initiates a process that automatically retrieves worklists and sample information from LIMS. The analyst can view and edit the sample list from LIMS to ensure it is complete and accurate.

One Touch Reporting to LIMS

Cerity users can report their sample results to LIMS using their standard reporting procedures. Any printed report from Cerity can be captured by LimsLink CDS and transparently transferred to LIMS, to the printer or to other data management or ERP systems – all at the same time, with a single click of the mouse.

Setup – Simple Configuration

Configuration of the interface is quick and easy, using drop-down menus and check-boxes that use Cerity terminology. LimsLink CDS uses methods to store configurations allowing each analyst or group of analysts to use different pre-configured methods.

More than Just Data Reporting

LimsLink CDS can do much more than simply collect and transfer results. Peak data can be passed through the LimsLink CDS engine for processing before it is sent to LIMS. Additional calculations can be performed, limits can be checked, peaks can be filtered, components can be renamed to match the names used by the LIMS, etc.
