Connect to any LIMS from the Empower Client
“Create Sample Set Method” is a new menu item that LimsLink CDS adds to the Empower client that lets analysts automatically collect a list of pending samples from any LIMS - with a single mouse click.- Analyst can choose to view and edit the Sample Set before transferring it to Empower to ensure it is complete and accurate.
- Standards, check samples and replicates can be automatically inserted into the sample list creating an Empower Sample Set that is ready to run.
- Interfacing methods can be setup and saved for specific analyses, analysts or analytical groups.
The new “Method Setup” menu option in the Empower client gives authorized users access to configuration screens that use drop-down menus and check boxes to define how sample information will be extracted from LIMS.
Simplify Reporting to LIMS
The LimsLink CDS Empower interface acts like a print driver, electronically capturing any Empower report. The results of any calculations that are done by Empower while generating the report are also captured automatically and can be included in the data that is sent to LIMS.LimsLink CDS makes reporting Empower results to LIMS as easy as printing a report.
Securely Integrated with Empower Security and Audit Trail
Access to the LimsLink CDS menu items is controlled by Empower security, eliminating the need to logon separately to use the interface.LimsLink CDS uses the Empower Audit Trail to track activity such as changes to the setup configuration, connecting to LIMS, selecting worklists, changes to samples, creating Sample Set Methods and reporting results after analysis.
More Than Just Data Reporting
LimsLink CDS does much more than just collect and transfer Empower results. Peak data is passed through the LimsLink engine for processing before it is sent to LIMS. At this stage, additional calculations can be performed, limits can be checked, peaks can be filtered so only correct components are reported, components can be renamed, etc.LimsLink CDS meets the data management needs of the modern laboratory with capabilities that extend well beyond simple data capture and reporting.
