Embedded LIMS Interface

LimsLink CDS adds menu items to TotalChrom, which provide direct access to the LIMS. The “Create Sequence” option gives analysts a process that automatically collects a list of pending samples from the LIMS and creates a TotalChrom sequence, with a single mouse click.

View and Extract LIMS Worklists

Available LIMS worklists can be selected directly from the CDS. The analyst can view and edit the list to ensure it is complete and accurate. Special samples like standards and check samples are automatically inserted and replicates are expanded.

Integrated with TotalChrom Security and Audit Trail

The menus are controlled by the CDS security system, eliminating the need to logon separately to use the interface.

Setup – Simple Configuration

Configuration is quick and easy using drop-down menus and check boxes that use TotalChrom terminology.

Simplified Reporting to LIMS

LimsLink CDS can capture any TotalChrom report, extract the sample results and transparently send the data to the LIMS. This simplifies reporting by letting analysts use their regular print procedures to transfer data, including calculated data from the report, to their LIMS.
