Nexxis ELN Now Includes an SDMS

Labtronics Inc. announces that Nexxis SDMS, a web-based Scientific Data Management System, is now included as a fully integrated component of Nexxis ELN, their versatile, web-based Electronic Laboratory Notebook.

The innovative integration between Nexxis ELN and Nexxis SDMS creates a unique solution that delivers advanced, automated document storage and retrieval capabilities.
  • Nexxis ELN automatically transfers your worksheets to Nexxis SDMS for long-term storage and fast retrieval.
  • Nexxis ELN automatically creates storage locations in Nexxis SDMS, using information from your worksheets (e.g. a "batch number" on a worksheet can be used to automatically create a storage path for all documents related to that batch number).
  • Nexxis ELN automatically creates metadata for document retrieval from Nexxis SDMS, using information from your Nexxis ELN worksheets. This ensures that metadata is always complete and accurate.
  • Nexxis SDMS automatically ensures that Nexxis ELN always uses the correct version of SOPs and worksheet templates.
  • A single setup screen in Nexxis ELN provides fast configuration of storage and retrieval parameters (document type, location, etc.) for documents being stored in Nexxis SDMS.
The addition of Nexxis SDMS gives Nexxis ELN unmatched control and automation over both procedural execution and the storage and retrieval of test documentation.
