New Embedded LIMS Interface for Waters Empower

Labtronics Inc. is pleased to announce a new release of their LimsLink CDS Embedded Interface for Waters Empower highlighting a new feature that uses pre-defined Sample Set Methods to reduce the amount of time and overhead required for setting up run protocols.

The pre-defined Sample Set Methods are setup in Empower with information about Standards, Controls, Blanks as well as Unknown Samples.

At runtime, analysts simply click on a menu option in Empower and the Embedded Interface automatically populates the Unknown Samples with sample information from LIMS. The newly created Sample Set Method is ready to run with Standards, Controls and Blanks included. It can be saved as is or under a new name.

Other highlights of the LimsLink CDS Embedded Interface for Empower include:

• Analysts don't need to use a LIMS client to get sample information from LIMS, everything is done from the Empower client
• The interface is independent of the LIMS and LIMS database platform providing complete flexibility when upgrading Empower or LIMS
• Analysts use standard Empower reporting procedures to send results to LIMS

LimsLink CDS Embedded Interfaces are available for Cerity, ChemStation, Chromeleon, Empower, Galaxie and TotalChrom.
