The LimsLink Connector for SAP provides seamless integration between SAP or SAP QM and any laboratory system.

The following are some of the supported workflows:

Worklist Driven Workflow – SAP notifies LimsLink that a new lot has been created. LimsLink queries SAP for a worklist and associated limits. This information is sent to the instrument for sample analysis. Results are received by LimsLink which processes the data and reports results back to SAP.

Instrument Driven Workflow – The instrument analyzes samples and sends results to LimsLink. LimsLink processes the data, sends raw data files to an SDMS and final results to SAP. SAP can also be provided with a link back to the raw data file, making it easy for a reviewer to look at raw data.

Calculations Workflow – SAP instructs LimsLink to perform calculations. LimsLink queries other third party systems for information, performs the calculations and returns results to SAP. This allows the lab to control the calculations and the data used for them.

Initiate Analysis Workflow - SAP notifies LimsLink of pending tests and LimsLink initiates Nexxis ELN worksheets, assigns appropriate analysts and schedules the work automatically.

Each of these workflows is able to execute in either black box mode (no user interaction with LimsLink during run-time), or client mode (user interacts with LimsLink client to initiate actions).
